Aryo Nazaradeh

Aryo Nazaradeh Hello there! My name is Aryo Nazaradeh. I am a Canadian-Iranian sound designer currently working as a Technical Audio Artist on the Battlefield franchise at Ripple Effect Studios (Electronic Arts). I am also currently an instructor at LaSalle College Vancouver, where I teach a 6-month course on video game audio to students in the Professional Recording Arts program.

My path to sound design started when I played violin as a kid, which led to an interest in music composition. After studying music composition at McGill University, and doing a master's at the University of Toronto, I discovered the fun of audio in games by making my first student game.

From 2023 to 2026, I was the president of Full Indie — a non-profit that hosts free monthly game dev meetups, as well as an annual conference attended by up to 1000 awesome game devs. These events allowed anyone to playtest their games in progress, watch craft-focused talks, and meet other like-minded folks. After the 2026 Summit, I was happy with the part I had played in helping to grow this community (and I wanted to get more free time back), so I passed the torch off to the rest of the team to continue organizing great events.

I have over 5000 hours in Elder Scrolls Online (achieving Planesbreaker as off-tank), I love languages and linguistics, and am an annoyingly relentless advocate for Linux.

Please don't hesitate to contact me about anything related to sound design, music, games, or anything I can help you with!
